Coming from the Agustinian Mission of Mexico, the Priest Agustin de la Santísima Trinidad, come to Peru with 12 agustinian, and created the Province of Peru, dedicated to the Mother of Grace.

In 1889, the Priest Eustasio Esteban coming to the Peru, and refundated the Province, and this past to the Province of Spain. The Priest Ignacio Monasterio now was the Prior, and fundated the School of Saint Augustin in San Isidro.

In 2005 the Pronvice recuperated his independence of the Spain Province of Santisimo Nombre de Jesús de Filipinas, when was the Prior the Priest Miguel Diez.

Elected in 2007, the Provincial Prior is nowaday Priest Alexander Lam Alania, O.S.A.

The Augustinian have School and Churchs in Lima, Pacasmayo and Chiclayo.
